About Trish
I was born in Hamilton, Ontario and grew up in Burlington, the 'burb next door. Since then, I've lived in big and small cities, rural/sub-rural/remote, coastal and university towns of all sizes. I've even spent some time living in the woods and on a wee island off the coast Nova Scotia.
For nearly 10 years, I was a research scientist in ecology and resource management. I worked with the government in monitoring wildlife populations and habitats both in the field and in the computer labs crunching oodles of data in GIS databases. My academic work dealt with the theory behind all that data, especially in relation to studies involving more than one spatial or temporal scale. Ultimately, however, I was uninspired by my superiors and set new headings for my educated and experienced self.
I spent a few years refining my image processing and photographic skills and now photograph those natural landscapes for promotion of tourism and recreation. If there's a long, natural view to promote without distortion, I'm the person to do it.

To add some constant variety to my pursuits, I balance my time between photography projects, producing assorted media, non-commercial radio along with some web development I do by referral and interest.
